Individual Consultation

from $247.00
Hours:

Get help when it matters most. Book time with an experienced nonprofit consultant to work through a tough situation, gain clarity on your next steps, and get back to making an impact in your community.

Whether you are staring down a funding gap, weighing a difficult staffing decision, second-guessing a strategic direction, or simply need an outside perspective before you move forward, a one-on-one session gives you focused, live time with someone who has spent decades in the nonprofit and grant writing world.

What consultation covers

Each session is one hour of live, one-on-one conversation focused on your specific challenge. This is talk-through time: strategy, decisions, and working problems out in real time together.

If what you actually need is feedback on a grant proposal or application, our Grant Review service is built for exactly that kind of in-depth document review. [Learn more about Grant Review.]

How it works

When a challenge cannot wait, this is where you turn. Rather than searching for answers on your own, you get direct access to real experience and practical strategies built around your specific situation.

  1. Book your session: Choose a date and time that works for your schedule, complete payment, and you're officially on my calendar. Sessions are booked in one-hour blocks, live and one-on-one.

  2. Share the details: Take a few minutes to fill out a short form with background on your situation. This lets me review the context ahead of time and tailor our conversation so every minute is useful to you.

  3. Set the agenda: Before we meet, I'll share a proposed agenda based on what you shared, so you know exactly how our time together will be used, and you'll confirm it works for you before the session starts.

  4. It's appointment time: Come with a beverage and something to take notes with. We'll cover a lot of ground together, working through your specific challenge and landing on clear, actionable next steps.

A note on work outside our sessions
Occasionally a situation calls for a bit of work between calls, a short follow-up note, a quick check on something we discussed. When that happens, we'll map it out together in a short written plan first, so you know exactly what's included and how it applies to your purchased time. Full grant proposal or application reviews are handled through our separate Grant Review service, not as part of Consultation time.
