I Want In!

June 2 – From Startup to Success

Launch your practice with confidence. We’ll walk through realistic start‑up budgets, essential tech tools, smart pricing models, and the legal must‑haves—contracts, insurance, and intellectual‑property safeguards—so you can serve clients while shielding your hard‑earned work and peace of mind.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the core start‑up costs, tools, and insurance you need—and what you can safely skip—to open your business on solid financial footing.

  • Draft (or refine) a client contract that clearly defines scope, protects your intellectual property, and limits liability.

  • Design a compelling portfolio outline that showcases your expertise and positions you for premium pricing.

June 9 – Marketing with Purpose
Ready to attract the right clients rather than chase every lead? In this session, you’ll pinpoint your niche, craft messaging that resonates, and choose marketing channels—from LinkedIn to referral networks—that consistently fill your pipeline and open new revenue streams.

Learning objectives

  • Articulate a focused niche statement that highlights your unique value and guides all marketing efforts.

  • Create a simple 90‑day marketing plan of action that combines outreach, content, and networking to land your first (or next) three clients.

  • Evaluate at least two additional income pathways—such as coaching, audits, or training—that leverage your grant‑writing skills and diversify revenue.

June 16 – Client Management
Long‑term success comes from excellent relationships and continual learning. Learn battle‑tested strategies to juggle multiple deadlines, prevent scope creep, handle sticky situations, and keep your skills—and your clients—current in a rapidly shifting grants landscape.

Learning objectives

  • Apply a streamlined workflow for managing overlapping grant calendars, communication touchpoints, and project files without burning out.

  • Implement a proactive strategy for preventing and resolving common client challenges—including scope creep, delayed feedback, and rejection—while preserving the relationship.

  • Develop a personal professional‑development plan that uses trend monitoring, testimonials, and win‑rate analysis to drive continuous improvement and upsell opportunities.
