Spark the Fire now offers an Assessment-Based Certificate in grantwriting that demonstrates that you have the knowledge to write great grant proposals. You can also take the class without getting the certification.
This two-day class is a comprehensive overview of grantwriting. Learn where to find grants, how to write a letter of interest, how to write a complete proposal, developing project budgets, best practices for communicating with grantmakers, creating work plans and timelines, developing goals and objectives, program evaluation, and tips and tools for organization.
To receive the Certificate in Grantwriting, your knowledge and skills will be assessed in a one-on-one setting. Present your grant proposal for review and and receive individualized feedback. The assessment is completed via email, phone, and/or Skype and at your own pace.

Fundamentals in Grantwriting Certificate
This is an 8-week class on Tuesday from 6-8pm. Registration is through Seattle Central in Seattle, WA. The next class coming up is January 22 to March 19 (skip February 19).
