The Grant Isn't the Endgame: Building Lasting Relationships with Funders
Grantwriters, are you familiar with this headache? Application deadlines, grant reports, prospect research, budget building, funder engagement, good old-fashioned grantwriting—and the list goes on...
How can we possibly find the time to take a step back from these daily tasks and plan for the bigger picture of grantseeking—what might be called the grantmaker relationship life cycle?
At this month's Seattle Luncheon Program, we will discuss how we can break away from boilerplate and towards creating lasting relationships with funders.
Our discussion will focus on the big picture of the funding lifecycle that allows us to not only plan a sustainable funding pipeline, but also to be more strategic and efficient in our proposal writing.
